Nestled in a quiet Putney mews lies the Emily-London atelier; a sunlit, glass-fronted gable where the brand’s collections are designed and created through the lens of Creative Director Emily Baxendale’s refined house codes.The Royal Ascot collection contains some of Emily-London’s finest pieces, each made through a process of many stages of meticulous craftsmanship.

The Aveline pillbox hat requires an artist's eye. The foundation is first built using buckram, a stiff woven fabric shaped and moulded by steam to create the clean architectural lines synonymous with Emily-London’s classic pillbox styles.
The Finishing Touch
Tailored Elegance
Layers of silk dupion, satin, or fine faille are then stretched flawlessly over the frame by hand, ensuring there are no ripples or imperfections in the fabric. Inside, the hat is lined and balanced carefully for comfortandtrimmed with delicate French veiling.
In Residency at Garrard
Ahead of Royal Ascot and the summer wedding season, Garrard is delighted to welcome luxury British headwear maker Emily London for a residency until Royal Ascot. The shoppable suite is on the 1st Floor of Garrard at 24 Albemarle Street. Available for appointments and drops ins from Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm, and Saturdays 10am – 5pm.
