Its masterful cut heightens this natural vibrancy, allowing the stone to radiate with captivating brilliance from every angle. Tanzanite as a gemstone material was discovered in 1967 at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and remains found in only one location on earth, northern Tanzania. With a finite supply and single source origin, its rarity continues to increase.
