New York, NY - Wednesday 18 February 2009, Fashion label Marchesa chose jewellery from Garrard to accent their dreamy Fall/Winter 2009 Ready-to-Wear Collection at New York Fashion Week.  Designers and Marchesa co-founders, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, worked with the Garrard team to choose beautiful white diamond and colored gemstone pieces to compliment their elegant eveningwear.  Models were adorned with cocktail rings and bracelets from Garrard’s Deco, Grace, Knightrider and Wings Collection. Chapman will guest-design for Garrard and work with Creative Director Stephen Webster to produce a fine jewelry collection that will launch in September 2009
 
Georgina wore a White Gold, Black Spinel, and Black and White diamond Cocktail ring from the new “Fire of London” collection, Webster’s first collection for Garrard.  Keren wore a large White Gold and Black Diamond ring from the “Wings” collection.

About Marchesa:
 
British born Georgina and Keren met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Georgina, a 2001 graduate of the Wimbledon School of Art, began her career as a costume designer. Keren graduated from Brighton Art College in 2000 and subsequently focused on print and embroidery design. Georgina’s draping and design expertise paired with Keren’s textile creations resulted in a business partnership and the establishment of Marchesa in 2004.
